CSA 07 FC COVID-19 protocols and risk assessment

The English Football Association issued UK government approved guidance on re-starting outdoor grassroots football in July.

All clubs are required to undertake a number of steps to run football activities in a safe manner. For our club, the notable steps are:

  • Perform a Covid-19 risk assessment
  • Share the risk assessment with parents and ask them for written consent that their child can return to footballing activities with us

March 2021 update: It is expected that the same protocols will apply when the latest Lockdown is concluded and grassroots football can re-start once again. If anything in these protocols need to be amended, we will do so and communicate this out to all coaches, players and parents / carers.

  • All of our communications on Covid-19 can be found here.

  • There are some key document all coaches, parents / carers and players need to be aware of as we seek to restart football in a safe manner:

Consent Form: Every parent / carer must complete a Consent Form before any child restarts footballing activities with CSA 07 FC. These forms are to be email to your age group manager.

CSA 07 FC Covid-19 Risk Assessment: The club is required to complete a Covid-19 risk assessment. This will be kept under continual review as we continue the process of restarting football
